No Labels Does Have Wonderful Goals  

Gullible. We could balance the budget and be energy "secure" by tomorrow if we wanted to be.

 

SS and Medicare are secured every year...there is no lockbox.

I like the four goals of No Labels as stated:

• Create 25 million jobs over the next 10 years
• Secure Social Security and Medicare for the next 75 years
• Balance the federal budget by 2030
• Make America energy secure by 2024

   

Admirable goals, but again no details as to how you intend to achieve those goals.

1.  To create those jobs we need to lower taxes, reduce regulations, change banking laws and encourage investment by lowering capitol gains taxes to nothing.

2.  That's easy, stop the Democrats from spending the extra money for other things.  There is no money remaining in the SS account.  Democrats (and Republicans) have raided that piggy bank and spent all the money.

3.  Balance the budget?  Then increase the Federal budget by no more than inflation plus population growth per year.  That would do it.

4.  Drill, Baby, drill!  Then thousands of nuclear power plants.  Yes, I said nuclear, but I mean thorium fueled power plants.  They are inexpensive, can be mass produced, and safe.

See, one can have solutions vice just stating problems.
