Mission Statement & Forum Rules

The Community Forums are public and open to all individuals of all political opinions to facilitate open discussion and to learn from each other. Everyone is invited to join the discussions in the tradition of vigorous respectful debate. We strive to create an environment that is inviting to a wide a spectrum of people and that does not restrict their ability to express their political views, even if they are controversial.
- USE ENGLISH
Although we welcome members from all over the world and value their insights and perspectives, this forum is in English and non-English posts will be deleted.
- PERSONAL ATTACKS AND INSULTS
Personal attacks and insults will not be tolerated. When reported, the offending post(s) will be deleted.
- FLAME BAITING
Posts or images that in the judgment of a moderator or administrator are specifically intended to provoke emotional responses or personal attacks from other posters, rather than civil discussion, will be deleted.
- TROLLING OR DERAILING A DISCUSSION
If you don’t want to discuss a topic, stay out of the thread, but do not divert it.
- THREATS OR INCITEMENT TO VIOLENCE
Any post that expresses a direct, indirect, or veiled threat to any person, group, society, country, organization, or religion will be deleted and the forum member notified of the issue.
- RACIAL, ETHNIC, HOMOPHOBIC, GENDER, OR RELIGIOUS SLURS
Any post or image that is in the judgment of a moderator or administrator, a slur against any such group will be deleted.
- PROFANITY, ADULT CONTENT, AND GRAPHIC IMAGES
Any posts or images that are considered obscene or profane are forbidden, as well as any links to any such material.
- LINKS, ADVERTISING, IMPROPER QUOTING, AND COPYRIGHT VIOLATIONS
No advertising is permitted in the forums. Links included in posts must be relevant to the discussion and must not be intended simply to direct members to another website.
If after you express your opinion, you quote an article, only quote a couple paragraphs of it and then link to the full article.
- BLOCKING MEMBERS
If after communication from the Admin, a member persists in breaking forum rules the member will be banned from the forum.
